The final chapter

After 6 month of work, the project is finally over. We are proud to present you the final version of the game which is downloadable for free from the index page. We wish you a pleasant journey in Memoria, good bye!

Hi everyone, during the conception of our game we decided to hired a young and talented musician and composer. These songs that he made exclusively for the game are actually awesome. Levels

Since the different tools for our game, the sprites and the music are achieved, we started to design levels for the game. All the levels are brought in 4 worlds, with a different atmosphere for each one. Thanks to the script system used in the levels and the complex gameplay mecanism we thought, you will experience a brand new experience. Download the final game from 10 june in the downloads section! Network multiplayer

Now that the second oral presentation is done, we started to busy ourself with the network. The latter is the central pillar of the cooperative mode with several computers. Each member of BlocSoft works on the different needs of this game mode: a perfect network management, a good client-server model, a synchronization of all the elements of the game and a good menu for the choosing of the network game.

Local multiplayer

The project is evolving every day! Indeed, the new key binding system is getting better everyday, letting the user choose his controls. In the same spirit, we started to work hard on the local multiplayer. The ByteCoder provides the opportunity to play the cooperative mode on the same computer with XBOX controllers and the keyboard!

First presentation

Good evening,
today we took the first oral defence for our project. After four days of relentless preparation, we are convinced that we succeed in doing all what we planned. In this smooth presentation, we presented the main features of the alpha of the bytecoder. By the way, you can now download it on the index.
